The trip was without a doubt one of the most defining times in my life. The experience was rich beyond my wildest dreams. My heart was opened to a country and more importantly to the people that inhabit it. Without a doubt, I felt as though I was at home the entire time I was there. I challenge anyone to go there and not feel moved and spiritually awakened. To say it is like stepping into a time machine is somewhat cliche yet entirely applicable. Yet, I wonder if it was to a former time when life was simpler or to a future time where life is enlightened and spirits and energy are alive to dance with one another under a veil of purity? The trip was a complete and utter success in every sense of the word. . The people I met and the people I travelled with are lifetime friends and in life I think you would be selfish to ask for more than that.

India was a fascinating country with busy cities, scenic countryside's, beautiful beaches, amazing temples, caves, architectural wonders galore, great food and friendly people to name just a few.   No matter how fascinating a country may be, a tour can be exceptional or ruined by a tour leader.  Steve Dawson made this tour exceptional.  He loves India and has a vast knowledge of the country and its people.  The entire tour was well organized and flawless.  It was so relaxing to be part of the group and just enjoy ourselves knowing that Steve was always on top of everything.  Our group ranged in age from 30 to 73 and there was not one complaint during the 25 day tour.  Steve was always available to answer queries, make suggestions, or just chat, even during our ‘free time’.  He has a great personality and makes friends everywhere he travels.  Often a local person would come running up to greet Steve as they recognized him from his previous travels in India.

We have travelled in many different countries and this tour has become one of the  highlights of our lives.  The tour was everything and more than we had hoped for.  I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit India.  - Myrna and Bjorn

Dear Steve,

I would like to write a few words to convey my total satisfaction with the tour of India I did with you in January 2005.

As a new traveler I did not know what to expect and I found your extensive knowledge and ability to tend to all details completely reassuring.
I appreciated that you were able to immediately resolve any questions or concerns that arose for me at the beginning of our travels…you handled all of this with both expertise and good humor.

The tour itself was more than I could ever have imagined. The places we saw and the fact that we were able to connect with so many people was a life changing experience. Many months later I can still close my eyes and return to the brilliant color, sounds and smells that make India the extraordinary place that it is. From the ancient temples we visited to the sensory feast of the Devaraja market in Mysore…every moment was an experience that I long to repeat.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in Indian culture and feel the joy that comes from being welcomed by the diverse and open hearted people of India. Personally, I am focusing on returning as soon as I am able…thank you In2india tours for this breathtaking opportunity.
