HIGHLIGHTS: Relaxation and paradise beach resorts. Six nights Kovalam beach, six nights Varkala beach, two nights tropical backwater resort, houseboat for 24 hours and two nights Fort Cochin.

DAY 1 to DAY 5 - KOVALAM BEACH: Greeted on arrival at Trivandrum Airport, and transfer to Kovalam Beach (approximately 30 minutes from the airport). Kovalam is a global village beach resort nestled around three beaches. Since the early 1990s it has taken off as a major Indian ocean destination for people from around the world. Kovolam offers dining, shopping, ayurveda health programs, yoga, proximity to backwater tours, great beaches and great service. Accommodation at the Soma Palmshore Resort.

DAY 6 to Day 11 - VARKALA BEACH: Morning, journey to Varkala Beach from Kovalam (90 minutes). Varkala is a cliffside resort overlooking the beach, famous for laid-back ambience and yoga gatherings. It is a world away from busy beach resorts but has all the amenities for a great holiday, miles of empty beaches to walk, and is close to town so you can catch the Kerala happenings. DAYS 12 & 13 – ALLEPPEY: Morning, journey to Alleppey (approximately 3 hours). Check in at this backwater resort. Here you will enjoy being in the tropical paradise that Kerala is famous for, fishing, cycling, walking the lanes, watching river traffic and relaxing in the sun. Accommodation at the Kovilakom Lake Villa

DAY 14 - HOUSEBOAT: Take a houseboat backwater cruise through paddy fields, coconut lagoons, narrow canals and coir villages. This timeless journey is in air-conditioned luxury, with three full meals onboard. Overnight stay on the houseboat.

DAY 15 to DAY 17 - FORT COCHIN: Transfer from houseboat and journey to Cochin (approximately 2 hours). Morning sightseeing, visiting Jewish synagogue, Dutch palace, St. Thomas Church, St. Mary's Cathedral, Chinese fish nets and Bolghaty Palace. Overnight stay at Cochin. This city has been colonized by every European country since the 16^th century, and history is visible when walking the quaint streets. Day 17, transfer to airport
